Dear Donald:

\J	We have been looking all over for a copy of Huberman's thesis,
because Les Earnest was sure we had a lifetime supply, because it was
a slow mover. Unfortunately there are none to be found, so the best
I can do is refer you to the \F1National Technical Information Service\F0
whereat it is AD673971 entitled "A Program to Play Chess Endgames".

The remark about chess being the \F1Drosophila melanogaster\F0
of AI is due to A.S. Kronrod, formerly of the Institute of Experimental
and Theoretical Physics in Moscow.

Sorry about the delay; various people passed the buck back
and forth in searching for the Huberman paper.\.
